FA Trophy Second Round Replay - Tuesday 2 December 2003
The Ding's unbeaten home run and Trophy dreams came to an end due mainly to two moments of poor concentration at the start of both halves. One-down after 42 seconds through slack defending Yeading although having the best of possession and play never really troubled the visitors goal in the opening half. After the break Nevin Saroya got caught in possession from kick off and Taunton netted their second this time within 40 seconds of the half getting under way.
A freak 35 yard effort caught everybody out to give Taunton a 3-0 break midway through the half and Michael Barima's 86th minute goal was a mere consolation with Yeading frustrated by the woodwork, goalkeeper and frantic Taunton defending.

FA Trophy Round Two - Saturday 29 November 2003
Yeading will have to do it all again at The Warren on Tuesday night after being heartbroken by a string of events that saw a comfortable 3-1 win stolen from them in ten minutes of injury-time.
The Ding had started slowly and were caught napping on the break to go one down on 41 minutes. However an individual goal from Darti Brown put the sides level just before the break and Yeading looked like progressing into the next round.
Just two minutes into the second half DJ Campbell put the Ding ahead amidst a suspicion of offside and the Taunton crowd were stunned into silence.
Danny Jordan extended the lead on 67 minutes and Yeading were crusing as they turned on the style. Then came the seventieth minute Keith Newby flew two-footed into a tackle over the top of the ball and so began a 20 man brawl in the Ding half. Newby was deservedly shown a red card for the tackle, but Yeading were then handed further punishment. Picking off candidates one-by-one the referee showed yellow cards also to David Clarke and Kevin Randall for what his assistant had seen off-the-ball. This was Clarke's second of the game and Yeading were down to ten men.
Taunton scored straight from the restart when Delroy Preddie failed to hold Michael Booth's free kick and Yeading were reduced to valiant defending that seemed to be holding up for a dramatic win.
However, decision after decision then began to go against them at both ends of the field with DJ Campbell and Errol Telemaque both denied penalty claims while corners and dangerous free kicks were awarded to Taunton as seemingly a matter of course.
Nine minutes into injury-time Anthony Lynch sent the home crowd wild by netting an equaliser and with the final whistle seconds after the re-start Yeading could hardly be blamed for a feeling a sense of injustice.
