The Ding's unbeaten record fell to top of the table Cheshunt, but in a tough fought game it was certainly points lost with the Ding having the better of possession for much of the game. Lax defending saw the Ding behind afgter only two minutes with Cheshunt breaking from a Yeading attack to score immediately at the other end. Errol Telemaque equalised on the stroke of half-time and in the second half Yeading came out much the better side. However, after DJ Campbell slotted an excellent chance past the goalkeeper and the far post, the points slipped away with Cheshunt soon breaking and scoring their second. Yeading still looked like getting something out of the game, but Errol Telemaque's sending off late on in the game, made the task even harder and they failed to even salvage what would have been a deserved point.

DJ Campbell and David Clarke put the Ding into an early first half and apparently unasailable lead, particularly with the loss of Thame's keeper through injury just before the break. However, a disappointing second half display from the Ding saw a double penalty save from Delroy Preddie and two Thame goals without a Yeading shot on goal and the Ding missed their chance to go back to the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Youness Nabil has left the Ding and has moved the Egham Town.

The Ding maintained their unbeaten league record in emphatic style in front of a bumper crowd. David Clarke opened the scoring on 18 minutes, before Nevin Saroya made it two from the penalty spot after Tilbury 'keeper Baker was shown a red card for upended Errol Telemaque. Errol made it onto the scoresheer moments later and Bobby Behzadi netted the fourth just ahead of half-time. In the second half, Errol Telemaque scored twice more to net his first hat-trick of the season before Bobby Behzadi wrapped up the scoring in the eighty fifth minute.

The Ding stay top and unbeaten in the league but will see this as two points dropped despite coming back from a goal down. Falling behind inside ten minutes, Yeading then had the best of the game but frustratingly seemed unable to convert their chances. The equalise eventually came in the sixty-ninth minute when Bobby Behzadi tapped home from 1 yard after DJ Campbell's shot was half saved.
In the remaining minutes, both Campbell and Telemaque hit the woodwork with several other chances also going close, but the Ding had to settle for a point to continue their good league start to the season.

DJ Campbell continued his "goal in every league game this season" record to earn the Ding a second half point, after falling behind against the run of play in the first half. The Ding stay on top of the table and are the only side in the Division to remain unbeaten.

Ryman League - Tuesday 2 September 2003
First half goals from Emond Protain and DJ Campbell sent Yeading on their way to record their fourth league win out of four and put them top of the Division One North table. Errol Telemaque sealed the win in the second half as the Ding put in another solid league performance.
